Does anyone have any experience with 3M self-sealing shrink wrap for
waterproofing coax connectors and splices? This stuff comes with an
inner coating that melts when it gets hot and is supposed to create a
weather-proof seal.
It occurred to me that two layers of Scotch 33 and a section of 3:1
self-sealing shrink wrap "should" be a perfect application, but I have
not heard anyone mention it.
Any experience out there?
