Good words Mike, I agree 100%
Someone said a power limitation of a 3CX3000 could be ok, Well I
remember when I was using a pair of 4CX250B's at 1200 Watt out almost
2,5 times the plate dissipation. Or the singel 4CX1000A at 2,kw out,
also
2,5 times the plate dissipation. They both run fine.
SM3MXR said on the reflector that he had 1,2kw out from a pair of 813,
thats 5 times the plate dissipation.
So having a 3CX3000A limit in the US should'nt be to bad for you :)
To all of you worrying abt to much power, start think decibels instead
of watts. A nice very cool everlasting 4CX15000 is only 3 db's (fun
ones)
more than a stressed 3CX3000A.
