Henry amps of the 2 x 8874 vintage had a variety of problems on 50Hz.
First was core saturation because the transformer was too small; second,
the tuning cap for the smoothing choke was designed for 120Hz ripple,
and therefore was wrong for 100Hz; and third, the blower was much too
small at the reduced running speed. These three design faults led to a
very hot little box.

These were all quite old models; I don't know about the later and
current Henry amps.
