If you are a Ham who wants to buy an amp with an FCC-granted waiver, re. gain do you care about the supplier's competitive advantage or just the freedom to buy what you want to use? It's not the US government's constitutional role to pick winners and losers. SPE got there first with an amp Hams want. The FCC should get out of the way. The existing amp gain reg. is silly and way overdue for termination. IMHO, YMMV ... SPE/Expert got caught trying to use a federal agency for a competitive advantage. _______________________________________________ Amps mailing list Amps@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/amps |
