I do not that that Dick's comments will register with
the poor operators you describe. Dick's post was directed at
the people who want to insist that some other station has
to sign his callsign everytime or for that matter every three contacts.
The point is, it is not cut and dired.

There are always some number inexperianced operators on the bands.
This is true now and it was true 40 years ago.
They are on both sides of the pileup. It is up to the skilled
operator to make the best of what comes his way in a contest or
pileup.

Are you saying you want a rule that stations must send their callsign
at some set number of times?
Or would this just be a suggestion of good operating practice?
