Yes. Had both and there was no contest. The FT-1000MP was clearly
superior, especially on CW which is my preferred mode. I did like the band
scope feature, but that's about the only advantage in my opinion.
Also had two ICOM 775DSP's and sold both because they weren't up to the
FT-1000MP for CW, but they were quite good for SSB, but not as good as my
TS-950SDX IMHO.
