That's not the point.  The point is that the contest exchange, as currently 
written in the contest rules, is RS(T) report and serial number.  I'm going to 
guess that stations like 8P1A, P49Y, P40A, 6Y1V, PJ2T, 5D5A, CQ95F, etc., also 
had huge pileups from time to time.  But they always sent the report with the 
number.


Maybe 99.999999% of the reports are 59....fine.  If someone wants to do away 
with redundant 59s then lobby for that (in another thread please....)  No 
problem there.  That's not the point of this discussion.
