It appears there were more than 2,000 stations who participated in WPXSSB. 
It also appears like somewhere near a dozen stations violated the rules, in 
one way or another.(that's less than 1%) More than 99% of the stations 
followed the rules. I think that speaks volumes about the high level of 
honesty and integrity within the contesting community. Those of you who are 
advocating/justifying violating the rules are definitely in the minority. If 
the signal report rule is a bad, or unfair, rule then it needs to be 
changed. But, since more than 99% of the participants have no problem 
following the rule, there seems to be no justification for changing the 
rule. The contest committee needs to get the undivided attention of the, 
less than, 1% by some severe sanctions, including but no limited to, DQ.
