"We hate them, but we have found that the easiest and quickest way to deal with them is to just work them quickly and get them out of the way." Working them, logging them and even worse, confirming the contact, enables them. If there is no reward for calling you, eventually they will stop. It's the same concept for spam. The reason we get spammed repeatedly is because some people payoff the spammers by purchasing their dope.
