We are not located in some exotic place in the world and I do not know what
you guys consider "high" rates but I was running 240 Q's per hour and I ID
after almost every Q. Sometimes just by saying "P I 4 D X" instead of "Papa
India Four Delta Xray". Not IDing after I make a Q is extremely rare. It is
my experience that when I not ID after every QSO that it's hard to keep the
pile-up going. But agian, we are not rare DX.
It's easy to say that if a station does not ID regularly then one should
not work him but that will probably hamper your own score more then his!
If someone has a excessively wide signal that there's a good chance that he
will hear from the contest committee. Why? Because it effects other
competitors. To me, not IDing regularly also effects other competitors
and IMHO could be dealt with in a similar way as for
instance transmitting a excessively wide signal.
