Don't be depressed if people can't hear you. Happens to me all the time. It
doesn't necessarily mean they don't love you.
Usually when I sweep a band, calling everyone I can hear, most of the
people who are barely audible come right back, while there are always at
least a couple of loud stations who just CQ in my face.
Sometimes when I panhandle in a supermarket parking lot, young people
driving beaters will give me a dollar, while old people in Cadillacs ignore
me. Being loud and deaf knows no boundaries.
