Subject: [Karlnet] Sonicwall / Karlnet latency problem?

Was wondering if anyone else has seen this or similar problems. This is
the third time I have had a problem like this in our wireless network.
Here's the deal:

Latency to customer's gateway (rg-1x00 running turbocell) is fine, usually
10-40ms with the occasional 200+ms ping. The customer is using a
sonicwall firewall with a bridged public IP, running NAT and they're using
it for a VPN connection to their central location. Latency for anything
going through the sonicwall is terrible. We're talking 200-500ms
consistently. The VPN doesn't work well, because there's a delay on
everything.

It kind of seems like it's a problem with the ethernet of the sonicwall
talking to the ethernet of the rg. Tried full/half duplex on the rg, and
that didn't fix anything. Any more ideas? Or maybe even a different
product that will do site-to-site VPN and NAT?

Thanks,

-Reid
