OK guys,
I think I triggered this discussion with my question about RW9WA
and zone 17. I have the Cabrillo tools too - latest version downloaded
on February 2002. Now these tools use a file CTY.DAT (sounds familiar??)
dated 7 Oct 2000 and yes there are these entries that put a lot of those
Russian 9 calls into zone 16. HOWEVER, there are newer versions of this
file, for instance one dated 24 Oct 2001, a whole YEAR younger than the
one used and distributed by and with the WT4I Cabrillo tools.
Guess what? This newer cty.dat puts our UBN zone culprits in zone 17 !!!!
Eddie, aren't you a Beta tester for Bruce WT4I? Please pass this on to him.
