Eric, K3NA, has set up a new Orion reflector at the
contesting.com facilities. This avoids the use of the
Yahoo group that several have been objecting about.

Eric has asked me to send him a list of all members to
the Yahoo group, but I feel that it should be up to you
to decide about joining rather than allowing him to just
automatically sign you up, hi.
John, W3GQJ, has been copying out the Yahoo group
archive files and setting them up as .pdf files. He has
graciously been sending copies to me. Eric has expressed
interest in seeing if they could be copied somehow into
the archives of the new contesting.com Orion reflector.
I would be willing to forward these to Eric, but only
with John's permission, since he has done all the
work, or perhaps John and Eric can work that transfer
out somehow.
Anyway, with this development, I believe it probably best
to go ahead with the total deletion of the "old" Yahoo group after
I hear from John that he has copied all the archives to .pdf
files. I think Joe, N4ARI has some interest in
perhaps assuming ownership of the Yahoo group, but not
sure that is a good idea to have more than one separte
Orion discussion reflector.
Eric, Joe, and I should decide what is going to
be done about this matter of possible multiple Orion
groups -- we don't want to geneate a mess.
