The schematics say we've got a Freescale/Motorola 68EZ328 "Dragonball"
processor that claims a mighty 2.7 MIPS (about 1000x less than new
PCs!). There are newer versions available up to about 11 MIPS, with
color LCD support, etc. [These chips are good because they integrate
all kinds of special I/O capabilities, but they don't have much
horsepower.]
An upgrade to the new part would probably mean a whole new motherboard.
I'd be surprised if TT can provide an upgrade for existing products at
a reasonable price, but I'd like to be surprised...
