Has anyone read "The Mythical Man-Month" (Brooks, 1975)?  Beware the
"second system effect".  It's where you finally throw out your hastily
done first generation design and do it "the way it should have been
done".  That's when lots of projects go bust...

It's still a great book, 30 years on.

Awaiting version 2 for the Orion.
