The Corsair used an AF/AGC or audio derived AGC according to some of the readings I've done and owning Corsairs in the past I still thought there was a problem till today when I turned the radio on, the volume was extra loud and noticed the AGC kicking in along with the s-meter needle! Even with the strongest signals the volume has to be past comfortable levels for the AGC to kick in. Is there a way to make the AGC more sensitive to signals rather than having to blast my ear drums for it to work? I dont remember this with my past Corsair rigs. Gil |
