Thanks for the rapid response from Mike and Winston, I can confirm that there 
NO pads under Q3 – 4 as per the schematic.

I will check the voltages on the final later tonight and will advise on what I 
find.

Thanks to all and please keep the advice coming, radio is too nice to suffer an 
ignominious death at the back of my shelf.
