Agreed about the drop out time during SSB. Just depends on the time delay
components Mirage has on the RF keying circuit that sets the drop out time.
CW will definitely require having the external control jack of the amp
connected to the VOX keyed (external amp control) output of the IC-7000.

While it will work fine with RF sensed keying, I find that the relay
will drop out during pauses of a SSB transmission. This drives me crazy
so I use hard keying.
I would try it with RF first keying and see if it works OK for you.
You can always add hard keying later if needed.
