That is fantastic to hear and I hope more pick up the practice and use it
during contests. I have tried it contests with W4IY and out side of contests
but with only one station ever replying and moving up band I didnt think the
practice was common.

For me and others the inabilty to QSY is one of the biggest gripes. Let's fix
that. Practice makes perfect. Let's set a standard. FT8 is a great grid
getter. Once the bearing is dialed in running the band should be easy.

Adding a grid every 3 minutes plus the QSO points going up the bands on FT8
when the bands are dead for PH beats the heck out of calling CQ endlessly after
you worked the regionals.
