I dug up the release notes for 10.77 (this material is NOT on the
WriteLog web site as far as I know):
"There are major changes to the installer in this version in order to
accommodate Vista and Windows 7 and 64b versions of them. All data
files that used to be in Writelog's \programs folder (which by default
was in "\Program Files\WriteLog") are now installed in an Application
Data directory. WriteLog setup does not offer you an opportunity to
overide this data directory setting."
The "Application Data directory" for Windows Vista/7 is exactly this path:
C:\ProgramData\WriteLog
I know this works on Windows 7, and it *should* be the exact same on
Vista. Uses should never touch the Virtual Store.
Wayne or Steve, can you comment on this please?
