I had a similar problem with the DXE reversible Beverage box and could not get them to give me a schematic in order to aid in it's repair. The design was not some kind of proprietary magic so I was forced to draw out the whole thing and found where a trace had been destroyed by ants (most likely attracted by the DC voltage inside) which was not easily visible. I just don't know why they are that way so I started buying Reversible Beverage boxes from Gary until they bought him and increased the price of course. In a relatively small market for TopBand stuff I just can not understand why we can't all get along. This predator marketeering is disturbing to say the least.

  Good point Jim
But it dose not take a rocket scientist to know why . I am guilty of reverse engineering an bought item When I did MM with 4 stations .. it was buy one and build 4 three fro use and one backup. making circuit boards, fabricating enclosures .. wow that's Ham radio I my book . We know there have been a few law suits regarding that .... and that's with out schematics . My point was not the quality of there " specific " product but them as a distributer of ham gear . and my experiences with the co. Wayne W3EA

I'm not as thrilled with DXE as those who have posted in this thread.
I like to work on my own gear, and DXE makes that difficult by not
providing a schematic for their products. About 8 years ago, I bought
and installed two reversible Beverages using their hardware for the
Beverages and for switching. A few years later, I had to troubleshoot
an issue with that system, and the lack of schematics made it MUCH
harder than it should have been. For that reason, I've been avoiding
them.
