## They can be mounted either vertically or horizontally, both
mounting schemes work.
Typ vert mounting is used. Either way B+ has to be fed to the base
of the plate choke.
Also, bypass caps have to be installed at base of plate choke. Also,
you dont want to mount
a plate choke parallel to a sidewall, nor the chassis. The stray C
will screw up the choke,
and shift its series resonances... down in freq.... which could easily
cause catastrophic results.
If you do mount parallel to sidewall or chassis, choke should be at
least 3 x its diameter away
from surrounding metal. Vert mounting solves these issues.
