There is one example I am familiar with where you can compare SO to SOA.  Go
to
http://www.cqww.com/searchbycall.htm?cl=k5zd

and look at the last 5 years of CW results.  Same station.  Same op.  Same
level of intensity.  

To really tell the story, you have to look at the scores relative to other
local ops.  Say K1DG or K0DQ.  Then you see that use of Assistance adds
about 15% or so of an advantage in score.  That is at the top levels.  Need
more data to see how it impacts a casual or part time entry.
