Is TenTec open for business? Don’t see much at all in their home page except
prices for service & repair, and future plans that don’t seem to materialize.

to switch.
With 3w, not much will happen to the relay contact.
If it were switching 100w, you would soon burn the contacts.

Hi John-
I use the vintage TT 405 amp often with my TT 539.
It works great if you accept that the combo is not quite full QSK (the 405
T/R delay can be adjusted down to what I would call "semi break-in").
The Argo VI is a fine little radio.
