Well, I won't be doing SO2R, but I am doing something "on the edge". FD is
a great time to show people new things.

And this morning I was on the edge too, to family
in Melbourne via Skype.

However, I'll additionally be running 1A as VY1AAA -- via remote.. J has a
6KW generator, and we will have temp antennas in Whitehorse, NT... but I'll
be controlling all that from the FD site in NH, via 4G LTE.

If you and your ops want to experience operating
from the far north, it seems to me you might consider
going there.

Is this ham radio? Absolutely.

Absolutely not! Your intrepid band of FD operators
will be 100% dependent on a commercial 4G LTE network
at all times. That's no one's definition of ham radio.
