Hi Tony,
Yes indeed, it's running Karlnet TC. What made me think that the
information can be trusted (after initially thinking otherwise) is that in
areas that I'd previously with the Orinoco radio had a link (not necessarily
a good one) I got nothing, in that (I think) the link from the laptop back
to the AP was down to nothing (even though the signal from AP->laptop was
quite good). The reason I think this,is that in the areas where I had a
link (but a receive S/N = 2 laptop->AP), the link would keep dropping
(probably when the signal would fade). I don't know for sure, but it
doesn't look just like a reporting error (as I had hoped).
