This contest would have died very quickly with participation such 
that we'd run out of guys to work after 45 minutes or so.  It would 
be great if we had enough activity to eliminate the dupe rule. 
Unfortunately, that isn't the case now. One could critique just about 
any contest out there. For example, CQWW really doesn't have any 
exchange - it's 599 plus zone.  Is that any challenge to copy? The 
logging program fills it in for you, etc. etc.  If you don't like an 
event, you don't have to operate (like my pet peeve about signing 
portable).

The history of this contest is it started in 1995 as a 2 hour Sprint, 
where the exchange included sending the name of the last person you 
worked, not your own name. That put an interesting twist in it.  
After about 5 years, I passed the reigns and it was reformatted into 
the mold of the NCJ Sprint. For some more history see the NCJ writeup
