There are tons of "loss vs swr" programs for different types of coax, just
search the net. I have a Zerofive 43 foot antenna. On 75 the SWR is <3.0:1.
On 160 it is <4.5:1. Check the programs using Times LM-400 cable. You will
find total loss, including coax loss and swr loss to be in the area of <1.5DB.
I do not want to insult anyone, but SWR is only one factor when considering the
effectiveness of an antenna

claims that impedance is either way high or way low, and SWR is way

Using a coax loss measurement program one finds on the Antenna Book CD
Disk, it seems like it is 1.5 dB to 1.8 dB on 160 meters (less on
higher bands.)
This does not comport with much of the literature on these antennas.
Can you embellish your position any? I am very curious. (Again... not
arguing, just asking as it IS rather more optimistic than some others
have indicated.)
