I built that kit and it worked.   I don't use it much, but it does work.
The regen thing is a bit finicky.  Guess that is par for the course and
gives it character.  Kit went together easily enough.  The copy on
the "destructions" is a bit fizzy - like it was made from a copy of a copy,
but they are ultimately clear enough.   Google around for a couple of
web sites where some guys discuss slight modifications in the build
process, parts, etc;  and for some tips on avoiding various difficulties
putting it together.

Anything specific I can add... please feel free to ask.
