SOLAR FLARES  : Active (M-class flares expected, probability >= 50%)
GEOMAGNETISM  : Minor geomagnetic storm expected (A>=30 or K=5)
SOLAR PROTONS : Quiet

COMMENT: The CME accompanying the New Years X-flare has a speed around 1000
km/s and can arrive at earth early tomorrow, Dec 3. Active, possible minor
storm conditions are expected. At the moment, the solar wind speed measured 
by
ACE is around 800 km/s. A possible cause of this increased speed can be a
coronal hole. The second part of it can influence the geomagnetic field in 
two
or three days.
