a serial port card will normally come with drivers. sometimes Windows will 
automatically load its own. i have added COM port card with either method.
just remember that COM ports are slow. there is a lag no matter which way 
you use COM ports or USB to COM adapters.
i have run two Orions at times thru COM ports using LOGic8 and MixW. if both 
Orions are on at the same time the delay is unbearable. the whole system 
works much better if one has a SO2R system with a 2 radio interface.
