And, there's a not-inconsiderable advantage to having someone gather all 
the parts in one box, etc. You know it will fit together, you know 
you'll have the right size clamps, etc. Sometimes it's easier to just 
order one thing than 20, especially if multiple sources are concerned.

Sort of like buying a multiband dipole kit. Sure, you probably have wire 
in the garage, and a coax connector, and something to use as insulators, 
and spreaders for the wires, etc.

Of course, if you have more time than money
